Merkén – Pure Smoked Chilean Chili Seasoning
ChinChile Merkén is the smoked chili seasoning of the Mapuche people of southern Chile, in a 3.53 oz (100 g) resealable bag. Ours is just smoked chili peppers, with no salt or other spices added.
Sprinkle it over eggs, avocado or fries, rub it into meat before the asado (Chilean barbecue), or stir a pinch into soups and stews for smoky heat.
