Leche Colun – Chilean Flavored Milk

Leche Colun is the flavored milk Chilean kids grow up on, semi skim milk from Colun in three flavors: manjar, Chile's dulce de leche, plus strawberry and chocolate. It is not reconstituted, so it is made from milk instead of mixed back from powder.

Pour it cold over ice, send it in a lunchbox, or drink it at onces, the Chilean afternoon tea. Every 1 L carton is fortified with vitamins A, D and E and made with milk from grass fed cows.

Three flavors of the same semi skim milk. Manjar tastes like Chilean dulce de leche, strawberry is the pink one, and chocolate is Colun's chocolate milk. Manjar and strawberry are sold as Mi Leche; chocolate is the Chocolate Original carton.
What does the manjar flavor taste like?
Sweet milk caramel. If you like manjar, Chile's dulce de leche, on toast, this is that flavor in a glass.
¿Hay que refrigerarlo?
Not until you open it. The carton is shelf stable, so it ships and stores at room temperature. Once it is open, keep it in the fridge and drink it within three days.

Yes. All three cartons are labeled gluten free.
Is it made from powdered milk?
No. The carton is labeled not reconstituted, which means it is made from milk rather than mixed back from powder.
¿Con qué está endulzado?
Manjar and strawberry are sweetened with fructose plus stevia and sucralose. Chocolate is sweetened with sugar and contains no stevia or sucralose.
Is it vegetarian?
The strawberry is colored with carmine, which comes from an insect, so it is not vegetarian. Manjar is colored with annatto and caramel and chocolate with cacao. All three are fortified with vitamin D3 of animal origin.
